Privacy statement Amsterdams Jeugd Muziektheater
The
Amsterdams Jeugd Muziektheater attaches great importance to the protection of
your personal data and in that context acts in accordance with the relevant
laws and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation. In this
privacy statement we let you know what data we collect from you, for what
purpose, how long we keep it and what your rights are.
What data do we process?
We will
process your name and address details, e-mail address, telephone number and
payment details. We also process information about your child: the name
of the school, the class, clothing sizes and possibly telephone numbers. Since
your child is a minor and participates in our activities, we process your data
as a legal representative. We receive most of the information from you when you
register for a course or workshop.
What we do with your data
We process
the data to implement the agreement. We use your data for administration
and for contacting you. We use your child's data to properly prepare lessons
and rehearsals.
What retention period do we use?
We do not
store your personal data for longer than is necessary for the purposes of the
processing. Financial and contact details are kept for seven years after
the end of the service. After unsubscribing from the newsletter, your email
address will be immediately removed from the mailing list.
Photos and other images
It is
possible that photos of visitors and students are taken during rehearsals or
performances. The Amsterdams Jeugd Muziektheater can use this for informational
and publicity purposes. We take the photos and images ourselves or have them
taken. If you object to this, there are various options (see below: what are my
rights).
What are my rights?
You have the right to ask us to grant you access to your
personal data and/or to correct, supplement, delete or protect it. If you have
any questions, comments or complaints about the use of your personal data, you
can contact us.
With regard to the processing of photo and image material in
particular, your rights are as follows. If you object to being portrayed in a
recognizable manner, you can indicate this to the photographer or videographer
in public places. We try to take your privacy into account as much as possible.
For students under the age of 16, parents/guardians must give permission for
the use of images taken in a private lesson situation.
Can we change our privacy statement?
Yes, we may change this privacy statement and we therefore
advise you to check this section of the website regularly.
